Welcome to the Thank Them Daily blog. This is an effort by me to honour my father and mother in a very special way. For as long as I can, I plan to write a short thank you to my Mum and Dad every day (if possible) for the little little things that they have brought into my life in one way or the other. In attempting to accomplish this, I will be walking down memory lanes, I will not stay in chronological order, I will talk about personal stuff, I will mention people (friends and family, colleagues and other folk I know) by name. I will not tremble at the thought of being sued by anyone, I will not worry what anyone will think. I am writing this for my Mum and Dad, and that's the biggest thing.
Why then, do I write a blog, do you ask? Jesus (and the Bible) is very clear that when we tell others of what He has done, we are praising Him and honouring Him. My way of praising my parents for all the awesome stuff they've done over the years (including putting up with me) and honouring them as my parents is to tell you of what they've done. So this blog exists. And it will continue to do so.
If you feel that there is something amiss with this blog, feel free to ponder on it awhile. Maybe my intentions will become comprehensible to you. If not, leave a comment on any post in this blog and I'll look into it.
